Yessir. It'll show up when you're in the coverage area.

I've noticed that sometimes you won't get any symbol showing even though the network settings say you are on LTE, but then I'm in the far north end of Edmonton and the LTE service is not good, often getting only one or two bars so I have manually switched to just HSPA+

I've now noticed that BB10 replaces the carrier mode with the wifi symbol if you are connected to wifi :-/ There is more than enough room for both so not sure if this is a poor design decision or minor bug.....

It's done so you can see which data connection you are using at that moment.
