Default Looking for a basic phone with big number pad!

Hi there, my wife and I are BB 9900 users and loving it. Was looking for a cell phone for my father in law, he is a senior, and he wants a basic phone with big numbers and nothing fancy, something old school I guess. He has a phone but doesn't like it. Anything out there, new or used, that anyone would recommend. I showed him all my old phones from BB Pearls to IP3 and they are way more advanced than what he needs or is able to use. Any suggestions? Only thing is, it must be a GSM phone and a candy bar style is preferred, great speaker volume and big buttons(LOL). More for seniors(no disrespect to any seniors out there) who are not tech savy.

Several iPhones and Androids in between.

I'm not exactly sure what a candy bar style is but after reading that post, this just came to my mind http://www.rogers.com/web/link/wirel...+11+4294948711

e-Andy, that's not candy bar. But it is a very usable phone for people with vision problems and I'd recommend it for op's f-i-l.

Looks like a great phone for him, I'll whip over to Rogers and check it out. Thanks!

Well, I think that if you are looking for a classic cell phone that is simple to use for calls and SMS with big keyboard - it's not a Blackberry (sorry). Blackberry can be a good option but what he really needs is a simple phone that made for people at this age like the just5 mobile device.
