Default Just got the Bold...email question

Just got my first blackberry so I am still learning.

I have 2 email accounts set up, a gmail and a business email (from a hosting provider).

They both work and I have received and sent email to and from both. The business email though seems to really lag. 10-15 minutes later, whereas gmail comes in instantly.

    Any specific reason for this?

I had a similar issue. I spoke with a service rep at Rogers, and he mentioned that it works in "cycles"... First 15 minutes, then 10, then 5, then 1... The more emails that come through a specific address, the faster you should receive them. Make sense?

This is what the rep at Rogers told me... maybe someone here can confirm/deny this.

I have a corporate email and gmail
I have never found that to be the case with my emails
I get emails on my BB first then 30 seconds later on the corporate email
It could be a corporate IT issue

If you are using OWA to access your exchange server, then your Blackberry will "poll" the exchange server every 15 minutes. This is on BIS. If you are on a BES server then the emails will come through instantly.
    250 DAY, 100 CDN LD, U/L E/W 6PM, UIC, MY5 CAN-WIDE, VM, CID, 125 SMS, R2R SMS, 500MB BB = $34.45 + TAX
