Default Help! No Blackberry Icon beside 3G. Nothing works!

Hello I am on rogers in Thunder Bay. Recently Rogers and Tbaytel(local company) signed an agreement which all rogers customers will be able to go on TbayTels 3g network and all TbayTel customers have access to rogers phones and nationwide roaming and calling. Since they switched on the 15th I can't access the internet or send any BBM''s My GF can but I can't. She has a BB icon beside her 3g but mine just says 3g and nothing works (except calls). She has a bold 9000 and I have bold 9700. I have done battery pulls, removed sim card and turned off and on the network. I called them and they said it should be working. I don't know what else to do? Has anyone else had this problem?

The first thing to try is to resend your Service Books.

Go to Options, Advanced Options, Host Routing Table, press Menu and select Register Now.

This will tell the carriers BIS server to send a new copy of your enabling Service Books.

If this does not fix your problem, you need to call your carrier and have them deal with this.

Call them back, and make them fix the issue.
i would ask them to remove your BIS and re add it.

Do NOT get off the phone with them until it is working.

I went to the TbayTel store. This is what they told a group of rogers people that came in the store. "We have no ETA when it will be working". That was it!
