Going to Toronto with an unlocked BB Torch2
I will be living in Toronto and I was wondering what is the best plan to get. I want to be month to month but have some data, so what should I do? And BBM of course.

Rogers will do month to month without any problems. There is a one time $35 fee and then you need to give them 30 days notice to cancel.

There may be cheaper solutions with the discount brands such as Koodo and Fido, they run on the Bell and Rogers networks and will work with your phone if it worked on AT&T. Rogers and TELUS offers prepaid BBM .. TELUS has a better voice plan as well. No credit check + no activation fee..

Can you add data to a prepaid Rogers BBM plan? My daughter is in BC on one of the BBM plans but she can't seem to attach a data plan. Data would be good when she's off campus (google maps etc.)
She tried a Koodo SIM but you need a Canadian credit card to activate. Stoopid.
