Going to Florida for a week. What to do??

All i need really is a data plan while i'm there. i don't need to be using any calling minutes. I have an unlocked BB. What is the cheapest solution? I would just be using it for maps / local searches.

TMobile is your only GSM option. You won't get 3G.

Contact them. They just started having a prepaid BlackBerry Data Plan again. Not sure what the requirements are.

Otherwise, you could just use WiFi.

thanks. but i won't always have wifi available while driving around. i need quick access to my data.

IF you are going to use GPS your cheapest solution is BUYING A TOMTOM! or garmin or something like that, you will get raked over the coals using your GPS in the US on your phone.

IF you are just using your data for basic things

I use about 1MB per day for email and BBM while I travel, I turn off weather apps and other apps that "call home"

yikes... 30$ for 10mb..

so i guess i would need to turn off my gps while i am there? does Google latitude use GPS or just cell triangulation?
