Fido (Rogers) 3G not working with unlocked Wind Mobile BB 9780 - Help!

I got an unlocked Wind Mobile 9780 Blackberry and due to signal problems I came back to Fido (Rogers) but my phone is only working with 2G and EDGE and probably that's why the internet is very slow on my phone and get disconnected again and again.

I have been told that there are some indepth manual settings that can enable my phone to work with Fido 3G network beside 2G and EDGE.

Please help me in this matter, I love the phone and honestly I can't afford to change it so have to make work.

Unfortunately you are out of luck. The 3G frequencies on a Windmobile BlackBerry are different from 3G frequencies used by Fido (Rogers), which means that you're stuck with operating your phone in EDGE (2G) mode only.

By the way, I noticed you asked the same question previously and was told the same answer on another forum so I'm curious as to why you've asked it again.
