Hi
I have a 9530 Storm from Verizon With the last OS update 5.0.0.1041.
I can be sitting in one place where I have full signal and It starts out with EDGE.
There I open the browser and as I am going to different web sights it switches to edge and stop down loading.
Is there anyway to fix this problem.
I have read all the threads I could find and tried what has been suggested and it still does it.
My SIM card is from 2008 if that makes a difference.

Yeah - your losing data when you go from EDGE to edge -- the age of your SIM card would more than likely be the root issue. Call 611, tell them what's up and how you've been told it's the SIM card, and they should be able to set you up with some sort of bill credit so you can go in and pick up a new SIM card free of charge.
