Hey Guys Just Upgraded to 4.5 on rogers and Love it!! I have the 6 gig plan but now youtube works!!! Mini Monitor doesn't seem to work anymore?? Is theer something else that I can use??

well you probably dont need to track you data since u have the 6 gig plan,unless u r downloading lots of videos or something u should be fine

Seriously...MiniMoni is great if you're trying to stay under 300megs but if you go over 6gigs of data on a BB your thumbs will actually fall off...

if you're roaming you're getting charged astronomical rates anyways- you're not going to go over your usage, but no matter what you're getting charged.

my mini monitor doesn't work anymore after i upgraded to 4.5 either, i have the 500mb plan so id prefer to see what my usage is, is there anyway to fix this or maybe is there another data tracker out there?

Tell me more of what this 4.5 is? I have a bold and since day one youtube (or mobile youtube) doesn't work correctly. Over 3g or wifi I either get an error right away or after 20ish seconds it says wireless connection lost.

4.5 is the software upgrade, my original software was 4.2. something...i was looking to upgrade to get Docs2go for free but the rogers upgrade didn't come with it....but it also has a video cam and stuff that goes with your curve...

p.s. does anyone know where i can get a free version of docs2go? i upgraded my curve to 4.5 but i didnt get it for some reason.

I'm running Rogers 4.5 OS and was able to install docstogo. Docstogo is not automatically installed, you have to select it from the list of apps. Also a fairly good program to monitor data, battery usage, signal ect ect, is a program called myboxtone. I'm currently using it without any issues.

thanks for the help, i hoped it was the full version like on my treo, alas it is not. i really needed excel more than word.

also l cant seem to get boxtone. i sent my email and never got a response. what did i miss?

In order to get excel, just perform an upgrade when you have either word or PP opened. Follow the link to register and you will get a free maintenace upgrade which will include excel. As for boxtone, its a fairly popular app, give it a couple of more days and you should recieve an email with the link to d/l.

thanks for the advice, i still haven't received my boxtone email yet, is there any way to get it without them sending it to me? i emailed 3 times already.
