Consumer Reports (Jan 2011) - Rogers fails
So the annual ratings are out for wireless providers and Rogers is near the bottom of the heap. Again. Beat out for last by Bell.
Granted, this is far from scientific - the results are from 'real use' readers of Consumer Reports only - but still, its worth noting, even if no great surprise.
The ratings in order are SaskTel, Virgin, Fido, Telus, MTS, Rogers and Bell.
Note the 'newcomers' aren't included, but that may change with more users and churn in the next year. At the moment though, it doesn't appear they've made a dent.
While none of the incumbents' ratings show much of a difference between them when it comes to the actual use of wireless device (and really, there's no reason why there should be a difference), where the top providers scored higher was at maintaining Customer Satisfaction and Support.
Which begs the question, why aren't those at the bottom of the pile taking lessons from those companies they own at the top?
Still, at least Rogers proves consistent from one year to the next...
