Default City just got 3G, BB9700 dies in a few hours.

Ok so I posted earlier about my data not working, now it "sometimes" works and has the bb symbol beside the 3G. But now my battery seems to die in a matter of hours. I charged it ully last night, took it off charger, went to bed, woke up and phone is on 1 bar of battery now. I don't have bluetooth or wifi on, I have no apps running in the background. It usually would last days before I would have to charge it. Is my battery going to die because of 3G singal? It seems to always be searching for a signal though, could that drain the battery?

It's probably dying becuase it's searching for 3G, try swithcing to 2G and see if it helps. You're only going to notice a difference with data speeds, voice will be the same.
Hope that helps
