Default Cancellation Fee

I heard on Telus has greatly redunced thier cancellation fee as well as unlcoking other carrier phones for a fee. I wish Rogers would do the same thing, especially the reduction of the cancellation fees.

They say they are the best comany , they should put thier money where their mouth is.

here is the link for any one who doesn't know what the OP is talking about New TELUS cancellation policy for those who "activated or renewed on or after November 21st" | MobileSyrup.com

and this link is about telus unlocking devices for a FEE
TELUS to unlock devices for a fee in early 2011 | MobileSyrup.com

to me i think it's more for "looks" i don't think you will be saving a lot of money (compared to rogers policy). right now rogers ETF is capped at 400, and 100 for data (so a total of 500 for a smartphone) Where Bell and telus don't have caps thus you could run into a bigger bill to cancell
(mind you as of 21 nov new customers for telus will fall under the new policy)
