Default Calls initiated using UMA

I was reading that calls initiated from UMA/Wifi will not be charged towards your minutes bucket even if you leave your hotspot and switch back to the Rogers Edge/3G network.

I have the $5 Wifi plan where it only gives me access to to use Wifi/UMA. All calls will be out of my minutes from my plan.

If I initiate a call on UMA from out of my calling area in Canada (calling my local area) and then switch to the Rogers Edge/3G mid conversation will it still NOT be long distance?

i.e I am in Vancouver and made a call to Toronto (my local area)
