I was just wondering what the real advantage is by letting my contract expire and buying handsets @ full price and not signing a contract to get a reduced rate on the phone i am buying.
will they really give you the best possible price if you say "i don't want a rebate on a phone, i don't want a contract... give me your best monthly plan?"
or would rogers be more willing to give me a GREAT plan if i say i'll sign for a year but you don't need to subsidize my phone??
we have 6 cell lines with rogers in my family all being paid from either the business or my father who pays for my siblings.
I'm looking to negotiate for one of these two plans which i have seen people able to get from rogers:
Unlimited North America calling
Unlimited Txt Msg Global
Voicemail & Call Display
1Gg data
NO CONTRACT
$65 A MONTH TAXES INCL
- $50 Unlimited North America Call and Text
- Free Caller ID
- $30 6GB data
- $10 + $15 credits
Total: $65 + taxes | I do not understand how 50 + 30 +10 +15 = 65
I do not know anyone who has a non corporate bb who pays less than 70 for a decent phone plan + decent data
