Am I able to switch from Social networking to email?

I just wanted to see if anyone has ever switched their social networking plan to email? and am I able to do it?

Ps. I have the student plan.

I believe you can either change your plan online, over the phone, or instore for free at anytime within your contract. I could be wrong though.
