So everyone, what is THE strangest thing you ever ate, and how was it?
Weirdest thing I ever ate was pigtails and turkey necks with pinto beans. And it was delicious.

wierdest thing i ever ate was boiled duck eggs. these eggs were nearly hatched though! a vietnmese friends mom had some and asked me to try one so i did, mainly so i wouldn't disrespect her. you peel off the top, throw on some salt and pepper (try not to look at it because you can see the developed chick in there!) and suck it down. surprisingly i ate 3 of them, they were delicious.

Baby Octopus, whole, deep fried tempura style. It was about as big as my hand. It was weird but tasted ok.

I also like bitter melon stir-fried with fresh-cut coconut and spices, indian style. And yes, as the name suggests, it is bitter, but I love it. Plus it does wonders for your blood sugar level. My brother-in-law, who is white, also loves it. It's funny to see a white person eat this ethnic food, which many Indians don't even like themselves
