Well I have Vonage as my landline, just use it so security can let me know when someone is at the gate. But I think they are the only people with the number.

I have Vonage as well and love it. It rings by BB when someone calls my house. People never know where I am at. Lol.

Didnt have service for over a year because copper thieves stole the lines.
It's cheaper here to make landline to landline calls in same area $0.03 unlimited in same area exchange.

I use Vonage for my landline. My youngest child is only 10 and I won't let her have a cell phone yet so we need a landline for her. Plus I don't like appointment reminders and the like calling my cell phone.

I still live at home with momma...just until i can save some $$...and we have had the same landline number since we moved into the house 22 years ago. I doubt my mom will get rid of it because no one can ever remember our cell numbers but guarenteed they know our landline.

I haven't had a land line for about a year or more. Nobody ever called me on it except telemarketers. My friends/family always called me on the cellphone so I just got rid of the land line and all the telemarketers!!!!

We just cancelled our landline that we've had for 20 years. It's strange, but I never answered the pesky thing anyway. I answer phones all day at work, not something I want to do at home. Lol.

No landline for about four years. Got too expensive and never used it. Besides, I have always liked a cable modem better.
I have had this cell number for a while now too but when I first got it I was sure getting lots of debt collection calls for the previous owner. Someone kept calling from the state unemployment office too.
