I'm just curious what you guys are putting for your e-mail signatures. I know that there isn't one "ideal" format, but I just want to know.

in relation to the email being from a blackberry? I have my work info followed by "Emailed from my blackberry". I would like to be able to create an image for my signature but eh

I don't have a signature. Personally, it annoys me when someone has a "Sent from my BB" or whatever because I get the feeling that they're just trying to show off that they have a BB and they want everyone to know about it. That may not be the case but that's the impression I think it gives. I hadn't thought of the typo thing though, that isn't so bad.

I don't have a signature. I don't mind when other people have them, but I don't like to have one on my emails.

    Sent via BlackBerry.

I have two unique signatures saved to autotext which I use in addition, depending on the email.

I like to use a signature denoting a BB message so that folks understand why I may be very brief.

I've always said I don't think the person on the other end gives two monkey
cacas where I'm sending my e-mail from.

I earsed the "sent via bb" and just used autotext as my sig. I have like three emails pushed to my bold so depending who or what place I'm emailing I used a different sig.

For example, if its for school I just type "d-s-n" (without the - obviously) and it will autotext my name and my title Student Nurse.

If its for work I type "d-n-a" and it will type my name and my title "Nursing Assistant"

If its for regular emails than I just type my initals and it will autotext my name.

I don't use the "sent via bb" because I don't want my teachers knowing they can send me an email and I will receive it right away. Same with work. I don't like the fact they think they can reach me instantly because then they expect me to respond right away. I want them to think "she hasn't checked her email yet"

Very wise. I plan on removing my "Sent from BB" for the exact same reason.

This is also partly the reason why I removed it as well. Just replace "teachers"
with "anyone who doesn't know I have a Blackberry."

Good points. Never looked at it that way.

In my line of work, I do need people to KNOW that they can reach me at anytime.
