My first was a Tmo Gold 8320, I had unlimted email for up to 10 email accounts and unlimited texting but no data! Surprisingly they don't offer that plan anymore. I was so in love with that phone and stayed with it for 9 months till I switched to Sprint and the 8330m. I currently have a 9630 Tour waiting for my 9650 Bold to arrive this week!

My first ever Blackberry was an 8820 with AT&T. I was using an iPhone at the time, and within the first week of starting a new job, my boss came rushing up behind me, and threw the Blackberry on my desk. "Here's your phone, it's activating on the Enterprise server." And at that, she turned and left...
It was a decent device, but too big to really haul around. I upgraded to a Bold on the company dime, and kept that for a while. It was a much better system, but I jumped aboard the Android train soon after. I'm back now, with a 9650, and I am very happy to be back...

The same reasons I left the iPhone - it's a great operating system and device for everything except communications.
It'll do apps. It'll do browsing. It doesn't do email well, or battery life, or SMS, or phone. It has those functions, but it is not the same. Not even close...
Simple reasons. I also am a die hard keyboard fan, and I don't like the touch screens. I tried twice to adapt - both with iPhone and the Android, but I still could not grow to like it. I also like the one handed operation of the Blackberry. One hand is all it takes to do a number of major functions. iPhone is a two handed operation.
My first Blackberry was Blackberry Bold 9000. Then there was a problem with the trackball & I decided to sell it away. As a replacement, I bought Nokia E71 which I had been using for about 4-5 months & realize that I just can't live w/o a Blackberry

My first bb was the 8300 curve for Cingular and now I have the 8330m for Sprint.. Had to change carriers for price and network problems.. Cingular/ATT has horrible call quality and for me CDMA jus works better in my area.. But anyway love the Curve series and I'm eligible to upgrade but I'm waiting for the price on the Bold 9650 to come down before I do so.. My Curve 8330 is in great shape and working seamlessly with my needs.. I <3 BB!! And will have one til they stop making them.. :-p

First was the Verizon Tour. Went through 4 of those. Then went to the Storm 8530. had 8 of those. Dropped to the 8330. Then went back to the Storm 8530. Went to a Droid, then a Samsung Moment. Now I have the 8530 and i love it!
