Left combined messages folder, Right is Media folder. Provides instant access to Vid camera for flashlight, Camera etc. I do find the messages on a convenience key is the way to go. Instant access without having to back out of or close other apps.

That's precisely why I set one of my keys for messages. I couldn't have expressed the benefit of assigning messages to a convenience key better myself.

I'd love it if I could have it that way, but my os/theme doesn't support it. I can access the application switcher via the BB key, but I have to roll down the menu to it.
