So in the UK, PIN means personal identification number, it's like a password you use to access your bank account. But I keep seeing people on the forums asking for eachothers PIN codes! I assume its some sort of instant messaging thing on blackberry?

Could anyone elaborate for me?

It means the same thing and yes, it's a way of sending messages between BB users. Go to the About screen on your BB and you can find it.

Once you find it go to the pin sharing forums and start making friends!
