ok folks...

what do you carry in your pockets on a daily basis? and why?
I find this can be a very revealing subject without being invasive...

I'll go first...

1. my phone (ok...a holster or case on the hip isn't technically a pocket...)
I never leave the house without it...

2. my wallet (i.d. and credit cards)

3. a pen (it holds ink and is used to convey the written language on paper)
because I never know when I will be on the phone and need to write something down...

4. a pocketknife ( I sort of collect them...and I use one a hundred times a day)
have you tried to open a child's toy recently? I have...

5. "walkin' around town money"
dad was right...

I can't make it to the store to buy milk without these items in my posession or I feel naked...

what 5 (or more or less) things can you ABSOLUTELY NOT leave the house WITHOUT....??

Sometimes I may just put my carkeys into my pocket if I have need to retrieve them quickly because they kinda get lost in my bag.

Ok a lady doesn't carry stuff in pockets so I'll say what I can't leave out of my handbag... bb, chapstick, wallet, pen , business cards and bills that are due soon as a reminder...

Like most women, I do not put anything in my pocket -- especially my back pocket. Heck what if I I needed to scratch my cheeky? hehehe

Joking aside, these are the things I can never go anywhere without in my everyday life:

• BlackBerry
• Bluetooth Keyboard
• Wallet
• Spare batteries for my keyboard
• Lipsticks (about at least 8 different colors)

I don't carry my bluetooth headsets since I basically leave them where I would use them the most. Leave one in each car, one in the bedroom, and the rest are lying everywhere

Gotta have the BB Pearl, 1 car key with integrated remote (I use the garage door opener to get into the house), wallet, Chap-Stick, and business cards (although they usually end up in the console of the car). That's all!

Nice thread db! I carry a purse(and I know you don't wanna know what's going on in there, smh) so there's never anything in my pockets. Lol my bb stays on my hip when I'm wearing a suit. When I'm wearing a dress I switch to my leather bb wristlet. I'm dying to know what people keep in there pockets, gosh I'm so nosey

can't live-

I specifically said POCKETS because I never ask a woman whats in her purse (let alone LOOK INSIDE heaven forbid...)

but for the purposes of this discussion I assume that there are some things that everyone carries at all times regardless of wheter their pants are pocketed or if they carry a purse/bag...

sounds like there are a lot of chapped lips out there based on the number of responses...too much taling on the blackberry drying you guys out???

Point well taken db, lol. I always have MAC lip glass, carmex (for the smooth lips), license, credit cards, pens, kleenex, business card holder. Whew, that's a load off. Lol

ive always got some sort of gum, candy, or mints in my purse.
my pearl, headphones
wallet (id, credit cards, random stuff)
pens
lip gloss, chapstick, lotion, 2 or more hand sanitizers (im ocd about clean hands)
keys, work keys
swiss army knife (great for quick nail fixes!)

obviously alot more in my purse but those are just some things i cannot leave the house without.
