    Just curious to see what other people think about these new fangled Tablet computers.


    I personally think they're the stupidest things ever and I do not see a need for a touch-screen slab. I think Laptops and Computers are a much better form-factor.

    You know I've been reading and seeing pictures of prototypes of these tablets for a year and a half now and to this day I STILL do not know what the heck it's supposed to be...

    Totally love the idea. I just pulled the trigger on a Lenovo IdeaPad U1.
    Looks like a conventional laptop but the tablet is detachable.

    Will make my life much easier going from my office to other departments or
    other facilities within the town.

    1) i hate touch screen devices
    2) my netbook/Blackberry combo suits me just fine...

    although something like ken mentioned with a removeable "tablet" wouldn't be to awful...
