I know the voice control is no siri or s4, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the voice control when driving. The voice control cannot recognize my commands when I'm driving at high speeds (all windows closed too). I wonder what the voice command is intended for if it's not going to work on the road.

Thats strange, because mine is fine. It even works over my car's bluetooth connection.
Maybe your car is just noisy? Try holding the phone closer to your face.

I haven't tried using voice control with the phone alone though. I can try that. I been using the headset that came with the phone. I did notice the mic on it is very sensitive on it.

If you have bluetooth in the car add a contact with the number 999-555-1234
You can call this contact and it puts the voice control though your cars bluetooth.
It's not the fastest way to do things, but it's pretty cool.

Ok so voice control works great without the headset. Tried it with the windows down too. Don't have bluetooth in my car so I had to use the headset, but when I do get a new car I'll definitely give that a try. Thats cool! Thanks!

i had problems with voice command on the road a few days ago. it usually works without a hitch. but i cant seem to figure out the problem unless it has something to do with having or not having a cell or wifi signal. and i dont think that should be a problem for this phone. i use bluetooth while using voice control. usually no problems. my phone has been acting quirky. im getting ready to do another clean install,,,,again! im a little upset with this.

It was both making voice commands thru bt and speaker. It's clear to me that voice control requires a link to a voice control server. I seriously don't think that commands are processed on the phones processor. Otherwise I wouldn't be talking about this right now.

Q10 running10.2.1.1055 leak and loving it!

I have the same issue and it's frustrating as hell. Last night I was really close to just packing it in with BB. I feel like I have to constantly use workarounds for my Z10. I often can't call anyone by voice because my "contacts are being indexed", the phone can't connect with the map server and tells me to "try again later"!

Uuuuugggghhh!!!

The iNuke option is really beginning to tempt me.
