edit: also i have to add in "just kiding" but not used wen people r just kiding but rather used wen they say sumthing wrong or in the place of "my bad"
i hate it wen ppl think theyr forum police or sumthing...
Things happen for a reason... I hate that one most of all
we live in a world of random acts... nothing happens for a reason.
unless you mean, I slammed the door because Im mad..I was mad cause my boss didnt give me a raise... my boss didnt give me the raise cause he is an ahole... he is an ahole because his wife is cheating... his wife is cheating because he is always working... he is always working to pay the bills... he pays the bills so they dont take his stuff away... etc... thats all I get out of everything happens for a reason!
"Is it cold/hot/rainy enough for you?!" with a big stupid grin.
Why do people feel the need to make small talk with a complete stranger?
I'm perfectly fine ignoring everyone in the elevator for 15 seconds, I don't feel the need to comment on the weather or football or how my week has been.
Also people who make up and/or use made up words, i.e. "chillax"
Certain terms people use when talking to me at work.
When someone says "I backed over someone" when referring to an accident where they backed into another vehicle. Requires alot more questioning on my part because I have to verify every little detail exactly. Then they get pissed when I ask if they hit a pedestrian.
When someone says "it happened on yesterday"
When I ask someone to verify information like an address or name and they spell it out. If I'm asking you to VERIFY something, I'm obviously looking at the information... you don't have to spell it for me.
I hate when people say "whatever" to end an argument. I'm guilty of that one too.
Back in elementary school, it used to drive me nuts when someone started on the "I'm rubber, you're glue..." tangent and wouldn't stop until you ignored them.
Drive me crazy when people use the word "like" in front of every sentence.
And as much as I know this is true, and is used a slogan for AA. I hate the "take one day at a time". I am always looking ahead. It gives me something to look forward to.
My sister-in-law says "bottom line." That's not horrible, but she will say it 15 times in a 5 minute conversation. I just want to say to her "You do know 'bottom line' is the end of the report, right? There is only one bottom line."
