I really want to say something here, but I worry it will get me flamed. Let me just say this instead...

she was a star when she was 21. She went downhill fast into the world of drugs soon thereafter. The tragedy is that she let herself go at such a young age. Her death now is a culmination of the years of drugs she inflicted on herself.

Sad to see her let that happen to her. I'll never be seeing myself getting into those habits. I have seen others get into it, which turns into an addiction and spirils out of control. She will be remembered not for her hard times, but for the inspiration she shed and shined on everybody, the people she touched.

2 Words - CRACK HEAD!
I know some of you may find this horrid or awful but its true, apparently she was found with a crack pipe in her mouth when she died and drug tests are waiting to come back.

What people don't understand is, anyone who bought, downloaded, went to her concerts, bought her memorabilia has supplied cash to this women so she can kill herself via crack, I reckon she OD'd, she isn't a star! Here in the UK your discriminated against by most of the public by smoking cannabis never mind crack, stars such as devlin have smoked it in the past.

Whitney - what a bad singer, god awful voice, atleast you can no longer smok'a on da crack pipe.

I wouldn't label anybody with a drug addiction who was suffering a crackhead or anything elsem. I have respect a dignity unlike you. She was a star, she inspired a ton of people, I wouldn't disrespect anybody either.

Lousy parenting?? We have a crack head singer as a role model!! As bad as rihanna wearing barely begger all on TV as a role model to kids! And you ask why we have a large drug problem in society and kids that are 12 and dress like 21 year old porn stars!

And how can you dismiss anything as lousy parenting? Everyone is allowed an opinion and it strangely happens my parents are not responsible for what I speak and how I feel.

You know it IS possible to recover from addiction right? I have been clean and sober for almost 10 years! (ODAAT - One Day At A Time)

Unfortunately some addicts have to die so that others can live. Hopefully some folks will see how she died and it will cause them to address their own addiction issues. Addiction is a desease, it's recognized as such by the medical and psychiatric communities. She died from her desease. It's a tragedy, and a great talent is gone.

I agree, hope it makes some people think and try and give up the habit, but she did nothing to stop it one day at a time, people like you who are strong and have the will power to give up such a powerful drug are people we should be praising more.
