Has anyone with Blackberry tried to chat with Android user via PingChat (or vice versa)? Did it work for you? It claims to be like BBM. I am looking for a good push-IM for cross-platform BB-Android-iPhone. I read about PingChat and some users reported issues, some said it works fine. What about your experience?

It's nowhere near BBM yet, and the way it's structured now, doubt it ever will.

Google talk works flawlessly on Android and Blackberry, and Apple has MeeGo and ebuddy that support push & G-Talk.

Well as far as chatting, they're all quite effective. Try sending any pics etc, and they all lag far behind BBM.

I installed G-Talk on my Boldy to test it out (while waiting for brand-spanky new Captivate to arrive).

Gotta admit, it works great. I don't care much for pics so it will be just fine for chatting. Thanks, guys!
