    Hi there.

For years I have been living around people who believe in Tarot Cards, Astrology, Horoscopes etc. and I personally do not believe in any of them, seeing as people are essentially believing in burning balls of hydrogen and clumps of dirt or rocks floating in space, mostly held in place or orbiting something by the force of gravity.

I've tried reading horoscopes before for around a month and only on a few occasions did they make sense or have anything to do with my life or personality. I put it all down to coincidence since it was the few out of loads that matched anything. I don't bash people for believing in it since there isn't any point, just like most Christians don't bash people for not believing in Christ (I'm an Athiest, in case of questions of faith). People believe in what they want to believe in, but beliefs usually have a basis of proof in them.

Horoscopes to me, are horrorscopes. (I know they don't sound the same, but it's hilariously funny) I don't follow or believe someone elses wordings in them. I remember one with so many typos it wasn't even readable. XD

It's fake because you can look at horoscopes for different months and they all are vague enough to cover the majority of issues being dealt with by most people. The only one that has any scientific proof is well none.

I once had a horoscope that said "You will meet someone who adores you tonight".

I got home later that night and my dog was so happy to see me that she couldn't stop wagging her tail and trying to lick me.

    Therefore, horoscopes must be true...

As someone who is very into astrology, I will say that I do not believe in Tarot card readings at all. It is very obvious that any card can relate to anyone's question or situation. I also do not find much validation in weekly horoscopes. Sometimes the monthly horoscopes are accurate. Anyway, the reason they aren't accurate, and this was Carl Sagan's reason for not believing in astrology, is because there is not one astrologer out there who can give you an accurate horoscope based on your sun sign. Why is that? Because we are not divided by our sun signs. We all have natal birth charts and progressive birth charts (post 30) that we identify greatly with. A horoscope specialist could give you an accurate reading based on your entire birth chart i.e. moon, venus, mars, mercury, jupiter, etc etc. with consideration of what house those planets are in, what aspects they are making to other planets, and where they are within the time scale (and the moving planets) for that week or month. This is why I look at planetary movements to tell me what to expect. I also look at the degree these planets are in comparison to my birth chart. Some times what effects someone else will not effect me because I, for example, don't have my moon within 4 degrees of a fixed sign.

So, I agree with you on the horoscope and tarot card thing, but I assure you. Astrology is very real and it is so vast at the same time.

Well it's real in that people used to scam others but real as is "has a scientific basis", no not at all - it's just bunk.
