Ghana will be up for their next game! They will have had an extra day of rest. The Portugal defense was there for the taking. Bruno Alves is hurt, Postiga is hurt. And they have to make up for goal differential.

Ghana will be buoyed by their performance against Germany even though they blew it late as we did today. I like Ghana to win this match but it will be exciting viewing. Both teams must attack.

I'm Mexican, but I'm rooting for the Netherlands. I'll be beyond happy if Mexico goes to quarterfinals, but I don't think they quite have what it takes...

I'm a ManUtd fan and I really like Chicarito. I was very happy to see him score today.

As for El Tri, if the Croatians had been more patient their goals would have come. Even when it was 2-0 the player who got red carded had a clear shot at goal. Had he passed to an open Mandzukic it would have been 2-1 with plenty of time to equalize. Congrats on getting out of the group stage and shaking off a terrible year. Let's see how far you go.

I for myself am rooting for the Three Lions aka England!!! Wayne Rooney to destroy the defence lines for that matter.

Australia actually plays football with the Asian Football Confederation, due to the dearth of actual opposition in Oceania (Australia 31 - American Samoa 0 springs to mind).
