But what if you want to take good picture and instantly send them to friends and family or one of those app like Instagram / snapchat.

And for the people who like to carry less stuff, exp me i only carry my wallet, phone, keys.

For a good picture to instantly share any smartphone will give him that. For a great picture buy a camera. Instant share, use micro SD card then take out of cam put in cell. Share.

Slog a good camera on backpack still a lot of work-phone is a multi-media device, better for light weight on foot travel, imo. Used to be a die hard camera fan, my quarter of luggage were camera, accessories, lens, etc. Backpack in EU trip. I found phone camera currently can take over majority of the tasks, except low light, defocus shot, or extremely long exposure control-try to take a good shot in candles lid church for example, I still missing my big lens camera with full function.

Several times and they use one of the best lenses on the market? I still like the control I have with my SLDR camera though even though I can't uses it proper see eh?

im sure there is a big market for stuff like this in asia which is why they're not releasing it in the americas. Some people just like to take higher quality pictures in a pocketable format and retain their cellular connection.

I agree, it's not for me as I prefer big camera sensors with good optics, but someone out there doesnt have the same priorities and will buy the Samsung K.

I have both a Canon SX260hs and the G15, and both are great cameras. And I have the BlackBerry Z30, which is great.
