- If your offended by this you have to sheild yourself from every major newspaper or televised news show. Or heck tv and Internet all together.
I'm not trying to be rude but honestly are you not offended everywhere you look?BergerKing likes this.02-21-13 09:49 AMLike 1 - Here's the thing...I can't. This site is frequented by people of different races, creeds, religions, ages, and sensibilities. I've been on this site for quite a few years and seen a lot of edgy stuff and really appreciate it but this is over the top and I want the site admins to take it down and apologize. I've watched this site grow over the years to a one-stop fountain of knowledge about all things BlackBerry. It's also a place where, with few exceptions, people are respectful of one anothers' opinions even when they disagree.
Part of having certain standards is making a stand. You see, it's part of the word itself, isn't it? This site has to reach for a higher standard than it did in its early days because its reaching a larger audience than it did back in the day.
So, It offends me, yes. Does it make me a prude? I don't think so. I'm writing this because I care.
If I am offended that you are offended by an innocent picture, should Crackberry respond to my demands by removing this entire thread?02-21-13 09:50 AMLike 0 - This reminds me of a test we took in the 6th grade. It had 20 "to do" items.
The first item was "read all instructions" and as you progressed through the items each got more and more strange and difficult. Finally, the last item read "now look at all the people that choose to do items 2-19 instead of following the instructions in item 1.
Moral of the story read first act second.02-21-13 09:52 AMLike 3 -

I just don't know what this world is coming to anymore that I can't view crackberry.com without having to immediately wash my eyeballs with vinegar. How am I supposed to explain this to someone if they happen to see me browsing this? Shame on crackberry.

- I think we better tell our firemen when they are sliding down that pole to answer that next 3 alarm fire they are sliding down a stripper pole...lol. Just because you see a pole it dont make it a stripper pole unless a stripper is using it. That young lady does not look like a stripper to me. She is way to fit!! All poles are not being used for just stripping

So, It offends me, yes. Does it make me a prude? I don't think so. I'm writing this because I care.Isn't this the exact wording that someone else had written in regards to the "Hiding your porn now requires and app" article that was put up a couple of weeks ago. So are you the same person or is this a joke making fun of that person. Also I personally don't think there is anything offensive with the picture since there is nothing wrong or immoral about it. Just because you are attaching a perverted image to the pole she is using but that's your own interpretation and doesn't mean that using a pole for exercise is immoral. I think its fine if you have a problem with it but I don't think you have a right to demand an apology for the article or to have it taken down immediately.
Tasteless. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that this is not appropriate for this site. Call me a prude, but I expected better from you guys.
Yes, seriously I have seen some of the stuff that's been posted in the past here...I've been here for 4.5 years. Duh. I say I'm offended, and the knee-**** reaction is "lighten up" or "chill" as if my opinion and those of others like me are somehow wrong and easily discarded. You're running a site frequented by many ethnicities, sensibilities, religious background and moral codes and this post's accompanying picture will offend many of them. I express this as my own opinion, without attempting to speak for those other groups but I'm pretty sure I've assumed right. Do you want this site to prosper? If yes, both you and this site better grow up. While you're at it, visit this thread and do your site mod thing and either lock it or deal with it. http://forums.crackberry.com/general...e-post-site-a

plagiarism [pley-juh-riz-uhm, -jee-uh-riz-]
noun
1.
an act or instance of using or closely imitating the language and thoughts of another author without authorization and the representation of that author's work as one's own, as by not crediting the original author: It is said that he plagiarized Thoreau's plagiarism of a line written by Montaigne. Synonyms: appropriation, infringement, piracy, counterfeiting; theft, borrowing, cribbing, passing off.
It's quite possible that 'webmeister' and 'katiepea' are the same person. Nevertheless it seems to me that 'katiepea' has taken the thoughts of 'webmeister' and possibly claimed it as her own.02-21-13 11:18 AMLike 0
