So is police using a new lighting? Driving back to cali I saw 2 cop cars (there were a boatload of them everywhere harassing people everywhere, from Magic Mountain to Ontario)and the top light (used to blind the "F" out of you in conjuction with th side lights was really bright. They looked like Hids, or are they super power leds. They have a whitish-blue hue. They look cool, except when they're straight behind you. OWW.....

The new lights are usually hi-intensity LEDs. And yes, they're terribly bright, especially if you're the target.

I figured. Today I saw some forklifts and instead of traditional halogen they had the leds. Man those suckers are ridiculously bright
