A 64 is a reasonably high score. They break-down a little differently based on various sections of the test.

Here is some helpful info thet may give you some ideas.

    Hello there!

I am also enlisting in the Navy! I've studied about it for the past 3 months so post ALL the questions you have!

As for the ASVAB, a 31 is passing and around 60 is an "A" mark.

I'm assuming you've already gone through MEPS processing?

Then you will be sent to basic for 8 weeks; not that bad compared to the USMC 13 week basic

Just a word of advice, don't sign anywhere until you are happy with what MOS (job) you get and make sure that it's all in writing. I was in the Marines and knew a couple guys who went in open enlistment and ended up cooks and admin and couldn't stand it! I wanted to be in the infantry...funny enough they had no problem finding a spot for me!

Basically...just make sure you are happy with what you get and it suites what you want to do, and good luck!

Oh yea, and the 8 week basic training has to be so much nicer than the 13 us Marines go through hahahaha

There are parts of the asvab that are more important than others. The math (AR if I remember) and your writing comprehension usually require higher scores for certain A schools and at least when I was in the Coast Guard some billets require certain scores. I had a 92 on my ASVAB but I had a college degree and was direct commissioned (not because of my score, I took it because while waiting for OCS I enlisted). I don't have very much personal knowledge but I can get you the answers to pretty much any of your questions. Just PM me and Ill give you my PIN and email.
