I Feel Bad
Okay, so me, my girlfriend, and a bunch of other people(girlfriends friends) go to an amusement park today. So right from the beginning i feel like total ****...i get motion sickness really easily. So after a few rides i am feeling horrible...then we go on a water ride and i throw up all over the side :gross: and we had gotten a ride from some other girl so i didnt have my car and really wanted to leave...so i got ride from someone else and left...but i feel bad for leaving my girlfriend, she is with all of her friends so it wont be that bad but i still feel like a total ****. I also try really hard to make her happy at all times. we have been going out for a year and a half and have not had one fight...so things like this make me just kinda paranoid that shes unhappy...
just wanted to see what my fellow crackberrians think, maybe offer a little advice if you can! should i feel as bad as i do??

I mean this with all sincerity, how old are you? If your girlfriend gets upset with you becuase you left after getting sick, she may not be the person you think she is. Conversly, if you are stressing over this situation and are always paranoid that she is not happy, you may not be ready for an adult relationship.

From a girl's perspective here, if she knew that you weren't feeling well and that you suffer from motion sickness easily I'm sure she will understand, if she doesn't and gets upset wirh you for it then she isn't the person you think she is.
You leaving because you felt sick shouldn't make her unhappy. She would most likely rather you go home instead of being miserable at the amusement park for the entire day. She probably wants to see you happy just as much as you do her.

I don't want to come off harsh here, but next time, either take some Dramamine, or stay the
off the rides. I'm just sayin'.

dont sweat it man, if shes "the one" she'll stick around. you shouldnt worry too much about what other people think, itll drive you crazy. just look out for #1.

Shouldn't have to try to make her happy. If you two work well together, you should beable to keep eachother happy effortlessly. Espicially in highschool when you kids have less to worry about
It's when you get into full time jobs, and debts, that a relationship needs a little effort to keep going

Danny, you said you don't fight, so that's good - people don't have to fight to have a good relationship. I'm sure she's fine with you leaving, too. You do need to relax, though. One thing I do know about women is that they do not like their boyfriends, or husbands, to be insecure about them. Trust me on this too, they can tell when you are even if you don't say anything. So relax, be yourself and don't worry so much about it. I wouldn't even mention leaving except to joke about it.

I'm 18 but let me just say I started high school with my girlfriend (we were just close friends at the time) and now I've graduated with my high school sweetheart.
And please, the last thing I need now is for people to say I'm too young, blah blah blah. I carry two jobs and am well under way to start studying engineering at university.
So with that aside, i have learned that females hate it when you act too clingy. Let her know you feel bad, but don't soak her in it .. you know what I mean? Don't make her regretful for you going, because eventually she will blow and start to realize you worry too much. A female likes a man with a plan and with some level of confidence. Just tell her you felt bad that you could not be with her at the moment but you also didn't want to embarass her in front of her friends, so you thought it'd be best if you left and let her have a good time so you wouldn't ruin it for her, definately joke about it, they love humor! Also, take her out for a casual movie or surprise her at work one day to "make up" for it. Although you shouldn't have to if she really is "the one". I feel your pain though man, all I can say is been there done that, and if you've been together for over a year in HIGH SCHOOL than you definately have a lasting prize. - 06-26-2009, 11:25 PM #10Enjoy yourself.. That's fine. Say what you want, but it's like you are trying to prove something, and I'm not buying it...
Wanna prove that you are old enough? Then act it, and quit trying to prove it. It'll happen...Enjoy yourself.. Enjoy others too if given the chance...
