Yeah, I'd say go for the curve- who knows the 9000's will actually come out, and like they said, by the time you can upgrade everything will be worked out better- including price. Also, you could always sell your curve to get some money towards a 9000 if you absolutely had to get one when they're released.

thats a tough choice i would wanna wait for the 9000 if you are happy with the bb's you have now, maybe you cn bargain with them if your on a month to month and they dont wanna give you a deal lol
I'm in a similar head scratcher I'm due an upgrade 5th June, currently have 8100 (which i love). Don't know whether to just keep the 8100 & wait to upgrade to 4.5 OS & wait abit more to see what new fancy 9*** devices appear here in UK this year
Or do I go for 8110 / 8120 as i like the size of the phone or 8310 / 8320 because I think i may like the bigger screen...although I'm not sure on the smaller keys.
WES is happening in a couple of weeks so hopefully we'll all know what new devices will be coming out this year so that'll help too.
I think i'm just going to hold onto my 8100 & upgrade to 4.5 OS (Hopefully soon) & then just wait until some of the new devices come out. The flip style, the touchscreen etc.
Good thing about 02 in UK is that once your 12 or 18 month contract is up you just keep paying your monthly bill but are no longer tied to the contract....so I can hold on until new devices are released & then get one the day they come out.
personally, i don't like the look of the 9000 - if i wanted an iphone, i'd get an iphone. i am kind of disappointed that bb is coming out with a phone like that. iphones are wayyyy too trendy! i like the look of the keyboard bb (also why i am not a pearl fan!) because it's unique and more sophisticated. i would totally go for 8320. i've got an 8310 (which is obviously not the 8320 but is similar)...it's my life! i would never abandon it for a touchscreen phone.
