How can people put up with standing around watching Golf

I am just sat here bored watching the Open. Never liked Golf. Does anybody watch Golf here?
I wouldn't be surpised if I can hear the applauding from here....

It may not look impressive at first but what some players can do with their golf bats is unbelievable.

I have spent since 9am watching it. Opinion is still the same. Celeb hunting is way more fun. I could cycle own that path right now and take a picture of Woods before whizzing off again lol

I think this is the only time when Lytham and St. Annes is ACTUALLY famous for something haha! Sucks to be us haha. Not just me but I think ALL the locals will be going barmy before long

I am an avid golfer and I do enjoy watching golf.

This is a personal preference and since you already stated you "Never liked golf" it is understandable that you would not enjoy watching it.

There are somethings that do not lend themselves well to television. I am also a very big baseball fan. Love seeing the games at the stadium but I have no patience for it on television.

Finally there are some things that will just bore the snot out of you no matter the venue. For me that is soccer. There will never be a more ridiculously boring "sport"

Definately at the football part !!!

I had to endure a week of people talking football at me when the recent big football games were on, even after stating to them "I have no interest or idea about football"

If England won they'd still be talking...Phew

I have the patience to watch golf but I just can't stand Nascar. Like watching M&M's in a toilet. Fall asleep every time.

golf requiers patients to watch the game. also it doesn't hurt to play the game, that helps with understanding just how impressive the pros really are. And lastly being at a nice golf event is a wonderful sight.
