He's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack
I know there's an earlier thread somewhere, but for some reason search doesn't work within Off-Topic.
Anyhoo, on again off again and on and on again Brett Favre has signed with the Vikings, pending a physical.
Wow. When will this idiocy stop?

If I could treat a team like my ***** for 3 months, keep waffling, then tell
them no thanks, and then let them go through training camp, and then decide
yes I'll play, and on top of that work them for up to $12 million for a season,
I'd like to be Brett Favre.

He still is. Have you seen some of the starting quarterbacks around the NFL?
Matt Schaub, Jamarcus Russell, whoever the heck it is that starts for the
49ers. No reason why Brett Favre should not be playing. Way better than
a handful of starting QB's. - 08-18-2009, 03:35 PM #9"Not only is it wrong to label people, but 'molesty' isn't even a real word...." ~me

And still not make the playoffs.
Favre sells tickets and gives the team he's playing for a much, much better
chance of going deep in the season. He's in the perfect scenario right now.
Offense that he knows, coaches he has worked with before, a great defense,
the best running back in the game. He won't have to throw as much as he
did last year. - 08-18-2009, 04:21 PM #13

I'm a huge Vikings fan and think this is such a terrible idea.
