Would be interesting...as a "for interest's sake" debate to treat this thread as a "What if I were Prem Watsa" query. For example, if I were Prem Watsa, I'd assemble a top-notch team of designers and engineers, a pair of marketing and organizational geniuses, and rebuild BlackBerry from the ground up. Keeping the top people who are there. BB will need BIS for the next few years as so many BlackBerry users are on BBOS devices and BES for the foreseeable future. I would grow BB, using its past but reshape it. Find out why people still buy BBOS devices for their daily lives and take care of those customers. BlackBerry has a lot to offer the telecommunications industry and, given the right team and opportunity, can do it.

I propose that we continue this thread as above. Respectfully and thoughtfully. What are your thoughts, CrackBerrians?
