I need my thanks button.!
Might I remind everyone this site is called CRACKberry.com
If you find the word "Porn" offensive, then you really have no idea about Crack Cocaine... Could Bla1ze have used a different title? Of course! But would it have gotten the attention of those seeking to do exactly what the blog post was talking about? No.
PS: I remember that night when the blog was posted, 1 hour earlier I was asking myself that same question.
Thank CB and Bla1ze: my gf, myself, and everyone who's held/demoed my Z10 up until now really appreciate it :)

Jesus...backbone please. The OP offends me, can he be taken off the site? If I want to hide sexy photos of my fiance then I'm glad this app is available if I get a blackberry.
Oh BTW, have not touched the last 25 pages so I have no idea what resolution or if any it has come to.
nothing as changed. he did not make a difference like he was sure he would. just ran away. I'm sure he is still watching us though ;) how do I look OP? lol
Those were just like the infamous BuzzNotes...
You have only missed a handful of intelligent post (see post 200), followed by many posts of people trying to make themselves feel better by bashing the OP. There are also some credible posters getting caught up in this trap and are losing credibility.
My take, yes it was distasteful, no the mods or author don't owe the OP an explanation. If CrackBerry wishes to not separate themselves from the millions of other sites, that's their choice. I just hope that they don't lose their credibility with BlackBerry if this continues.
He has changed his avatar since, but you're barking up the wrong tree here. First of all, the avatar you are referring to is a player for a fictional team (Carolina Pantless). His avatar is of a member of this fictional team being chased by players of the New Orleans Saints (the team to which you refer). The player featured in the avatar is pantless and carrying a bottle of Febreze instead of a football. So, if nothing else, the avatar you are questioning depicts a player trying to escape from players on a team who (allegedly) had a hit list to take opponents out for a prize.
Here it is in its original size:
Just curious. When they were installing pompousness . . . . . did you get in line twice?
I'm far from credible, so no chance of me losing any of my credibility :)
I think it is because of a mix of fun, crazy, silly, and serious posts that seperated them from other sites. Credibility is in tact, don't worry
I'm sorry I'm not reading anyones posts anymore. I'm busy writing a letter to mcd's because of their slogan "I'm loving it." we all know "it" means sex!
Intelligent post count still hasn't changed.
nice one
Kinda of ironic after your last two posts ;)
I know John and he likes porn.
I'm pretty sure you don't need to write them a letter to get sex, I believe there are easier ways. Just saying.
I suppose a Website like CrackBerry could declare their editorial position on discussions of topics only suitable for adults... drinking alcohol is not suitable for children. Looking at pornography is not suitable for a sexually immature person, no matter what their age.
I would say that CrackBerry.com's "tone" is a bit uneven... you can't post the word "elliot" with "ell" replaced by "id"... it will be "bleeped" out. But I have seen words that can not be spoken or shown in print on broadcast television use in comments to blog posts etc.
It doesn't necessarily make sense... for example a list of words that are forbidden, and why they are forbidden, might be very helpful. For example, the word alluded to by "elliot", above (sorry to you folks really named Elliot out there) is banned because the management of CrackBerry.com know that posters are likely to use that word against other posters... so it's banned... ineffectively because other words aren't banned, and replacing letters with numbers or symbols usually gets past the filters anyway, so I guess what's the point?
Moderating a Web discussion forum is like parenting. There are hands on types, who watch every word and make sure to stop anything that they want to stop... then there are the hands-off types, who maybe let things get a bit out of hand before they intervene.
Mods, like parents, can't follow their charges everywhere all the time to make sure they don't do or experience anything they don't approve of... but like parents, mods can use specific situations as 'teachable moments'.
I think the OP learned today that CrackBerry.com isn't necessarily as safe for all ages as he thought... only because he personally didn't come across anything offensive in that particular way until now... but the fact is, this discussion of adult content isn't NEW to CrackBerry.com... just the OP didn't KNOW that it would happen.
So, OP, as an adult, if you found that topic so offensive personally that you don't want to risk encountering anything like it again, you'd best stay away. If you can deal with it, but are worried about other more-impressionable types like your children seeing it, then I suggest you add "crackberry.com" to the website filters on their devices (i hope you ARE doing that, or you're kids are seeing porn every single day all the time even when they don't want to) and tell your children WHY they are not allowed to visit CrackBerry.com. "Teachable moment". It is an opportunity for you to have a discussion with your kids about what is acceptable an not acceptable on the 'net, and instill your values in them.
I thought if I had kids, I might not ever EVER let them have candy of any type until they were off to school (where it would be impossible to prevent them from having it). But then, when they were on the playground at 5 years old and some other kid gives my kid a Jelly Tot or whatever, and they react "OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER TASTED!" what the heck am I supposed to do? They may be come a candy addict on the spot, or they may not actually care for it. Porn can be like that... I imagine that children who know about sex (not PORN) from an early age will be curious, but LESS curious because they have information, rather than having it be surrounded in mystery. Careful how much you protect your kids from knowledge about sex, because they will learn about it, and they should have the CORRECT information, rather than end up on "16 & pregnant".
Ahhh so you stood in line three times to get so pompous. Do you need to practice to keep it? Or does it just come naturally to you?
Why yes, yes I do :)
You are very credible in my book. I've seen things to suggest I'm right about this. ;)
So in summary then
Family Guy - The Freaking FCC - YouTube
Nah, I was only counting my first one. But it is funny that I get referred to as pompous, when there are post like this on the thread :
Then again when I went through the pompous line, maybe I did get an extra dose. ;)
Do you realize if you delete your posts the intelligent posts to non-intelligent post count will start to balance out? Just saying
