Fox Cancels "24"
I don't know if anyone else heard the news, but Fox is canceling "24" after this season. Just wanted to get some thoughts

I heard/read a rumor that it may go to NBC.

Well, I guess I would be happy if it goes to NBC if Fox cancels it. The only downside to that is Fox has always been considering the possibility of a Jack Bauer film franchise. I think the cancellation of the TV show on Fox would not necessarily mean that a film franchise wouldn't work. Either way, a move to NBC for the TV show would likely delay a filmm franchise.

i hate to say this, but as much as i love that show, the more you watch it the more you realize the seasons are getting more and more alike.

The past few seasons were great, but this one did nothing to capture my attention. Maybe it's me?

03-15-2010, 11:14 AM #7 So far I've found this season to be inferior. Too long a mid-season lull that's finally starting to pick up. The whole Dana Walsh saga is way too unbelievable and taking up too much of the show. And the Brian Hastings head of CTU character is joke.

I've barely even seen this show, just couldn't get caught up with so many seasons. The good news: they're saying there's a better shot of making it into a movie when the series wraps, so I'm for it. Besides, even if it didn't get canceled, NBC doesn't deserve it. They stupidly canceled Southland and now TBS has it. Yay.
