I understand the need for protection, and although the law is different in Canada, the only real concern I have is the finality of a gun. There is no do over, or the I made an error in judgement. It is not my place to judge anyone, or tell them how to live their life. I have a hard enough time living mine! lol

Well made point, thank you for bringing it up. It is one of the reasons I choose to own, train with and support personal firearms. If a "final ending" has to occur I want to give myself the best option for that ending to be a concern for "the assailant"; not me or my loved ones.
