300 is dope. McNulty in there just working those corrupt politrix.
Scarface is my all time favorite movie. I challenge anyone on CB to sit back with me, watch the movie, drink a 40 and outquote me. I have that film on LOCK lol.

Dr. Newport needs a life.
Yooohhooo I'm up for that challenge--yeah I went And can out drink you on the 40---hahhahha Bring it
That would be a lot of fun Sxxy. I haven't done 40s and Scarface for years.
On Point: I also have a seriously soft spot for Star Wars movies too. Not the cartoons and not the doggone books or comics or cosplay, but the movies themselves. I could go head to head 40 powered on that stuff too...especially episodes 4, 5 and 6.
Serious. Season 5 needed to explode on the street. I just finished watching the whole series again this last weekend. It was some good stuff.
When the Omar killing was leaked on Youtube, I didn't believe it. Omar wasn't walking with a limp for one. I was hoping against hope that they weren't gonna do us that way. I mean...Kenard? He couldn't have held up that cannon, let alone scored a headshot.
Season 5 hurt on many different levels. Levy needed a comeuppance too. And Marlo lived? OMG. What a mess.
Homicide was dope BTW. I am curious about Generation Kill...but not too curious.
Re: SHAWSHANK
You know, King's novella is a triumph. Homeboy can really write. And not just the "I gross you out while I torture the protagonist that you are forced to follow" writing. I am talking about stuff that resonates, and not because some kid's tongue is swollen in a hot car and a dog is barking outside. I strongly suggest that DIFFERENT SEASONS paperback to anyone. I know that this is a movie thread, but doggone, those four stories are some master stroke moves.

I also have an intenely soft spot in my heart for John Carpenter's THE THING.
You know thinking about this a bit (yeah, I think we'll all keep discovering "treasures)
Driving Miss Daisy, Tandy and Freeman were perfect casting, and that final scene wrecks me every time.
And don't get it twisted, I ain't no punk but still
