Well, I have had my trusty 8130 for over a year now, and it is with a heavy heart I must forgo my beloved BlackBerry. In times of economic hardship, my wife and I are doing all we can to save as much money as possible to hopefully buy our first home within the next couple months. My wife gave up her 8330 a couple weeks ago, and now I must return to my old Chocolate VX8500. Ouch... Of course, Verizon just had to open the internal GPS to BlackBerry Maps yesterday, making this transition that much more difficult. I never posted much in the forums, but I have visited this site multiple times a day, everyday, for over a year. The Crackberry community is by far the most kind and insightful group I have seen on the internet. Thank you Kevin for founding such an amazing place; all the moderators for maintain civility; and end-users for sharing your experiences. Take care and Godspeed...
Thank you everybody for your support. We have our eye on a place and are putting an offer in tomorrow. After we scrimp and save for a while, I'm sure I'll reactivate my Pearl. I've only been using the VX8500 for a couple days and I can already feel the withdraw symptoms setting in... I keep reaching for it, freaking out for a split-second when I can't find it, and then realyzing what I have done....
Sorry for the thread resurrection, but I'm back! It has been far too long, but I just reactivated my old Pearl the other day! After using my very old first gen LG Chocolate (first mistake) for a few months, then switching to an LG Dare (second mistake), boy am I glad to be back. I never really posted much, but I just thought I would reintroduce myself.

Yes I did! My wife and I bought our very first home! It's a nice townhouse right in the middle of town. We really lucked out on the price AND got really great neighbors.
