Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if some Dropbox link sharing would work here...

Ive seen this done on some other sites where one person shares their referral link and people join up... when that person hits the max then another person posts a link and so on.

But here is the kicker... I have a student account so if you join up with my link you get 500mb extra free space instead of 250mb!

it says it should be 500mb. ill look into it

also, if you do the tour and link it to fb and twitter you can get around an extra 1GB!



edit: you have to install the dropbox app on your computer to get the 500 bc on my account it doesnt say you completed the process... it just says signed up. once you install it let me know

i know it doesnt make sense, but i guess it is because dropbox is supposed to sync files from your computer to your device... so you would need it on your computer to get the full added MB

why not go for box.net? they appear to be giving away 50gb accounts. if you have bought a playbook then you can get it for free (or i'm sure some nice person will give you one of their invites).

This is funny to read. I got BANNED from the forums, because of some sort of weird reason when I did this 1.5 years ago. I had to contact the mods for like 3 weeks in order to get this straight.

the file size limit on box.net is really low... i think it is 100 or 150mb

Nope. All I got was the 250mb for doing the tour and sending a request to friends. I even went and did all 7 things.

You get 500MB because you have linked an edu account, the people that use your link will only get 500MB if they also link an edu account, otherwise they will only get 250MB.
