Do you separate or keep together SMS/MMS/e-mail?

I've always had it all separated, but I'm thinking of going back to default style where it's all combined in Messages folder. Just wondering what everyone else does..

I originally kept everything in the combined messages folder, but over time it became too cluttered and confusing for me to sort. For anyone who receives a decent amount of emails and texts, separate is the way to go.

You've gotta separate. It just looks messy all in one folder. Plus emails and texts can quickly move down the list if you're active enough.

Always seperate. I hate combining messages of different types especially across multiple e-mail addresses.

I keep everything together because I respond chronologically, not by type. I also don't care to jump from folder to folder.

agreed. i have 4 email icons so it takes up a lot of room on my home screen

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but iirc, the gmail plugin is only useable on the separate email icon instead of the combined "messages" icon. I liked the idea of having everything consolidated into one icon, but this was a deal breaker for me.

I don't know about the plugin but I do know you don't need the plugin to get your gmail. I have mine added as a regular email address alongside my others. Same inbox.

I got annoyed at having to go to three different places to tell my phone that I had seen the stupid messages so I lumped them all into the one folder. I wish they'd just add an option to not show them at all. I don't need a separate message to tell me I have a voice mail when I have already checked the voice mail.

I combine for 1 simple reason, I like to set my Left side convenience key to bring up the Messages folder.

I don't like having ringer/alert distinctions set for different Message types, so I just like to hit one button for the most common thing.

i also keep mine separate. i have more than one email address and get two many text messages to be going through a combined folder of different emails and texts.

I like mine separate. My is as followed I have 4 email accounts. Personal, junk, work, and bogus. I createD a folder called Post Office. Moved individual accounts there clicked hide. When I have an incomimg message I look at the messages (default) folder and there they are. SMS\MMS are in the def_lt folder.
