I was wondering if anyone else uses more than just their BB device? I am a Passport owner and looooove the phone. I did, however, pick up a Mint Condition Lumia 830 on eBay for $170 for the camera and because I find WP8.1 interesting. For that price I feel it's a STEAL!!!
I'm not at all getting rid of my Passport but would love to switch between the two every once in a while.
This leads me to ask... do you guys own a second phone? What is it and how frequently do you swap them out?

I have two lines and habitually toggle between devices... I ALWAYS have a BlackBerry (Currently doubled down on the Berry's as I am running the Classic as my daily driver, the 9900 as my secondary) but I also have flirted with WP and Droids... (anything but Apple is fair game for me) I enjoy diversity... Toying with tech pieces for the pure purpose of fun and exploration... I've always been inquisitive in nature my mobile device habits mirroring that trait...

I have Passport too and a Galaxy Note 3. For 3 months, Passport stopped recognizing my SIM card so I had to swap out SIM card and put it in my Note 3 , which is now my daily driver.

Not to sound like Ari Gold from "Entourage" but I have to have two phones, baby!

I run two companies and obviously, they both have separate phone lines. Also, I like to keep both separate. And having a 2nd phone gives me a way to mix carriers and have more apps. Thus I have T-Mo for Berry and Sprint for Android. No matter where I am in the US I can usually pull a carrier signal on at least ONE of the phones. I also use VOIP on the Droid, so I can make free phone calls or use VOIP if Network is not available on either phone.

I carried an iPhone 4s for a bit, then migrated to a Nokia Lumia 521. I loved WindowsPhone with their live tiles and thought it was brilliant, but alas, the Apps were horrible. I finally migrated to an Android Quad Core LG Volt.

For my daily business driver, I prefer my BBerry 9900 linked to my Playbook via BRIDGE. But for play I prefer the Android. If the WindowsPhone would have had the Apps (like my Bank's App) I would have stayed with WindowsPhone.

Yep, I carry two phones. I'll always be a Berry fan, but I need my Android as well.

I'm not sure. It is still available to purchase on ATT's website. I have read great reviews on it and the camera produces beautiful photos. I, for some reason, love the underdog. I enjoy Windows Phone with its live tiles, Cortana, and new notification center. BB10 will always be my #1 choice and I could never see myself getting rid of my Passport but sometimes I want to switch it up and would rather do so with this than an Android or iPhone.

I have a BlackBerry classic and this one I'm posting from.
I have an incompatible (with my carrier) former BlackBerry bold 9700 (media streamer over data only rogers sim, free.), CDMA BlackBerry pearl 8130 (not activated), BlackBerry 7280 and 7290 as alarm clocks with some games on them.

I used to carry an iphone 5 ( jogging apps & games) along with my Q10, then got the Passport and just carried the Passport and Q10.
Then took on some part time work and retired the Q10 and just use the Passport now.

Had a look at L 640 and 830 today. Might just grab one, because Windows Phone is the only (mainstream) platform haven't got in my possession to play with yet (Android, tablet + phones, iPad mini2, and heaps of Berry goodness).

    :-D

Yes, Windows Phone seems interesting, especially the Office integration...

Passport for personal use, Q5 for business. But I think I will need another phone and number for another business venture. So I'm eyeing up the Classic.

Yes, carrying 3 phones will be cumbersome, but at least I will be able to keep everything separate... just how I like it.

I feel it's important to be able to switch off from your business once in a while, but I will never switch off from my family and friends.

Yeah, I'd like to do that, too. But you'd be exposed to 2x the radiation, if you're one of those worried about this... :-)

Unfortunately, when I started the business, I used my mobile number, and didn't get a private one for friends and family. Now (years later) I'm kinda stuck...

For the last four years, I've always had a BlackBerry as my primary device and an Apple as my secondary device.

I had a BlackBerry 9300 backed up by an iPhone 3GS.
I had a BlackBerry 9900 backed up by an iPhone 4S.
I had a Z10 backed by by an iPhone 5S.
    I have a Z30 now but I refused to update my 5S.

I currently use Q10. I still had Samsung Galaxy Chat. I bought it for the qwerty keyboard, but unfortunately the RAM is too low for running apps smoothly. Since no other Android phones with physical qwerty keyboard that has good specs (at least the RAM), I decided to try BlackBerry. Turns out I really love it, especially with the Hub that works perfectly fo me, which I never had on Chat.

Planning to sell out my Chat early next year, and keep my Q10 until I can afford to buy Passport - my next BB phone
