    Hi gang,

Ever so slightly off topic: I have recently become concerned about user-created-data. Apple users are nothing to the company but mere products, producing massive profits off of the data that these users create, that the company sells for profit, profit that the users could make themselves. Android does, or used to do, the same thing. What happens to the data that BlackBerry users create? I am considering switching to Indie-phone because of this, but do I need to? Can BlackBerry buy and incorporate the indie-phone technology? Or does the company use a similar technology already giving me / us the data that I/we individually create in order that I / we might profit on it my / ourselves?

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Richard
