I just don't see how computers would ever be obsolete, no matter how advanced our phones are, and/or tablets are, there is just no way all that can replace a computer, no way.
    Thoughts?

    Z10? Why yes it is.

They will always be around. Without it, what would you sync your phone to?

    Cloud.

But I don't think I could replace my computer with a phone.

True but at some point you will need a computer to sync your files to the cloud.

not to mention you can have up to a terrabyte or more on a computer, high end gaming as well, bigger screen, keyboard facilitates bigger tasks, more options to customize and just pretty much a myriad of things in addition to those, dont see them going anywhere.

I think your thinking is a little naive, I'm not trying to be rude just speaking my mind. I strongly believe in Thors idea of the future of mobile computing.

right now pc processors are faster due to for one amd the biggest thing is the computer has a power supply and doesn't have to worry about battery life, but with processor architecture becoming more and more efficient and at the same time more powerful.....now imagine 5 years from now I believe that line will blur even more maybe even to the point of being equal.

mobile devices now have SSD's when they where in the past only in pc's

and the idea of ram is not really an issue anymore as operating systems are becoming more effient.

so I don't believe it would be such a bad thing to have a computer you can dock to a larger reletively cheap larger screen, what's the point of having soo many devices when youncan have one that does it all (all this said the battery issues been fixed)
