BK, did I ever tell you the story of driving down through North Carolina with my buddy years ago? No, didn't think so, here goes:

We were driving down south through North Carolina, just touring around since neither of us had ever been there and the exit sign said "Raleigh Durham Next Exit" and my friend said, hey let's go to "Der Ham" to which I proclaimed it was pronounced "Durrem" and the bet was on. I said we would just go there and pull into the first place we came to and ask. So, we pulled into a place with a drive-up window and asked the person inside to slowly and clearly pronounce the name of place where we at right now. He looked at us kinda funny, us being New Yorkers that talked funny and everything and with a straight face said very slowly and very clearly:
"Ohhhh-kaaay, dis heeeere is BERRRRRRRRRRRR---GERRRRRRRRRRRRRR----KING"!

I had a similar thing happen to me in Arkansas. I was driving throught the state and pulled in to a drive thru and ordered my food. When I got my order I asked "where am I?" To which the gal said "Ahh..ahhh. Burger King?"

Like I NEVER have a "LIKE" or "THANKS" button dammitall.

We better get our likes and thanks buttons or I'm leaving CB forever! I'm going to go to Ford Truck Forums and tell them how bad this place is!

I have not used (or given) any "LIKES" or "THANKS" at all today (because I cannot, not because I will not), but no dammed buttons for them either, just the "REPLY" "REPLY WITH QUOTE" and the multi-quote thingie button, nothing to the right of those. I am using FF today, which is my browser of choice most of the time on my WinXP Pro workstation at the office. My only other choices are IE8 (too f-n slow on my workstation) and GC which the IT guy hates, mostly because it's Google, but we have other issues with GC and workstations as well as our servers.

Do you have java script on or a blocker?

Maybe if the "LIKES" and "THANKS" buttons just greyed out when you had reached the quota (why?), then it would be understandable for those that it disappears after giving out the maximum (again why?), but in my case I'm not sure what is going on. Honestly don't remember, but it seems to work much better lately with IE8 or GC. I have had them come back after a refresh, or logout and log back in to make the buttons re-appear or something, but geeeshhhhhhhh.

I've never run out of likes but do run out of thanks all the time.

I ordered parts from partsgeek.com last week, and they arrived today. I'll be ordering more from them, definitely saved some solid money. Saved $157 on parts alone, plus another $30 on sales tax.
