In other news Leigh's grandmother (her birth mothers....mother ) is not doing well. Her cousin is flying up from Texas tomorrow ....and he doesn't just come back here for no reason. We found it last Monday (Saturday in the LostZone) that she is probably won't make it until Christmas. She is just filled with Cancer. We told her a couple days after that....sometimes I think it's better not to know.

So do you guys remember my story about my white Siamese cat who escaped my husband's grip at the vet's office in JUNE and ran away? The lady who lives across the highway from the vet has spotted him multiple times in the summer and fall and has been feeding him and giving him treats. At Thanksgiving, she had her son put up a raccoon trap and last night they trapped him.

He seems to be fine except he has a big deep cut on his head from the trap. So he is at the vet's now getting stitched up and he's coming home this afternoon. Gonna cost me 400 buck or so........................

They are all amazed that he lived in the woods for 6 months and didn't get eaten by a wolf, coyote, dog or run over, etc. No fleas, no ticks, no scratches.....he's just a free spirit.

She's a tough old girl...we will see what sort of battle she put up....unfortunately it's everywhere liver, lungs and bones so it's just a point of time

Now.. as far as buying stuff! Holidays are created by corporations who want you to buy their stuff and the corporations own the media who make you feel guilty if you don't buy into the machine.
You can come to terms with that and loose the guilt. Generally, you buy for people you love. I make my own cards and express that love in them. And you can't put a price on love.

Especially when money is tight!!!
